Zwanze Day

The 2019 Zwanze will be released at the E9 Taproom on September 28. This year’s Zwanze is a smoked gueuze (Belgian sour beer brewed with wild yeast) that incorporates two different kinds of malt, “with the classic notes of a Cantillon, complemented by an elegant smokiness in the nose and on the palate,” according to Cantillon’s announcement.

Starting at 10am on September 28, E9 will also be rotating taps with guest beers from other renowned breweries, including 5-6 additional beers from Cantillon. The Zwanze 2019 will officially be tapped at 12pm on September 28.

SHE HAS ALSO WORKED WITH PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS THE LOCAL SPOUSES CLUB, GIRL SCOUTS, MOPS & HOMESCHOOLERS. HER CULINARY EXPERTISE ALLOWED HER TO MAKE FREQUENT APPEARANCES ON THE AFN RADIO NETWORK IN WIESBADEN AND PROVIDE COOKING ADVICE TO ITS LISTENERS.  THIS YEAR SHE WILL COMMIT TO EDUCATING PEOPLE ON FILIPINO FOOD CULTURE.  HER GOAL IS TO GET HER BOODLE FIGHT POP-UPS TO BE A FREQUENT EVENT IN TACOMA.  SHE LOOKS FORWARD TO BEING INVOLVED WITH THE MILITARY & LOCAL COMMUNITY.

Come down this Saturday to meet local farmer, Jake Sterino, with the opportunity to purchase their fresh fruit offerings on site.
